Isotopes 2009

It is a pleasure for us to announce that the multidisciplinary international conference: "ISOTOPES 2009" will be organized by our Institute (National Institute for R. & D. of Isotopic & Molecular Technologies, 400293 Cluj-Napoca, Donath Str. 65-103, P.O. Box 700, Romania) from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29, 2009.

This conference aims to foster research involving isotopes and isotope effects within Europe by bringing together top scientists representing a wide range of areas of natural sciences from all over the world. This will be the sixth conference in an informal series of successful meetings that started in Carry-le-Rouet (France, 1999) and continued in Zakopane (Poland, 2001), Uppsala (Sweden, 2003), Bath (United Kingdom, 2005), Benicassim (Spain, 2007).

The Conference will be held at "Belvedere" Hotel. Besides the conference hall with all the corresponding equipment, the participants will benefit here of accommodation facilities and lunch. "Belvedere" Hotel is situated on top of the "Cetatuia" Hill (1-3 Calarasilor Street) with a magnificent view on the city center. All the interesting sites, from the cultural, historical or touristic point of view, are easily accesible from here.

Cluj Napoca is a town full of touristic sites either natural or made by men. The Franciscan Church and Closter, Calvaria Church, the house where Matthias Corvinus was born, the old fortification of the City are only a few deserving to be mentioned. Click here to find out more about Cluj Napoca.
